Position Overview

On Point Physical Health Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Orthopedic Outpatient Office located in the scenic area of Mountain View, California. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing personalized rehabilitation plans designed to address each patient's unique needs, enhance their overall mobility, alleviate pain, and restore function effectively.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, allowing for direct interaction with team members and patients, which is pivotal for fostering a nurturing recovery environment. Our facility in Mountain View is designed to maximize patient comfort and recovery, featuring modern rehabilitation technology and resources tailored specifically for orthopedic therapy. With a full-time schedule of Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, our clinicians enjoy a balanced work-life setup while contributing to meaningful patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients' physical abilities to tailor treatment strategies effectively.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings, ensuring a focus on sustainable recovery practices.
• Utilize evidence-based techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patient mobility and alleviate pain.
• Monitor and document patient progress in detail using WebPT software, adjusting treatment plans as necessary in collaboration with the care team.
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to continue their recovery at home, enhancing adherence to therapeutic recommendations.
• Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment, adhering to best practice guidelines and regulations to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily focuses on outpatient orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with a diverse population, including post-operative patients, athletes recovering from sports injuries, and individuals with chronic pain conditions. Effective communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as you will motivate and engage these patients throughout their therapy journey, fostering a positive recovery experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• An active Physical Therapist license in California or the ability to obtain one is mandatory.
• Essential clinical reasoning skills and a hands-on approach to manage pain and dysfunction effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire patients, providing them the encouragement and education necessary for optimal healing outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting is strongly preferred.
• Experience with electronic medical records systems, particularly WebPT, will be an advantage.
• Leadership in prior roles or involvement in mentoring junior therapists is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 120,000 to 130,000 , commensurate with experience, and includes a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your overall well-being:
