Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for clients, employing individualized therapy strategies tailored to their unique needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring a robust support system within your sessions.
• Utilize diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address client concerns effectively.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic client care and develop treatment plans that address the interconnected aspects of mental health.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records that adhere to legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with relevant laws while safeguarding client confidentiality.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training sessions, keeping abreast of the latest research and practices in the mental health field.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will focus on a diverse client population, including individuals and families with limited access to mental health resources. You'll engage directly with clients from various backgrounds and experiences, providing tailored support to address a wide range of mental health challenges, such as trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, and more.

Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required.
• Licensed as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Pennsylvania with active and unrestricted licensure.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling is required, ideally within a clinical or outpatient context.
• A thorough understanding of legal and ethical standards in counseling practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team environment.
• Competence in using electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies for documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Specialized knowledge in family therapy, trauma-informed care, couples counseling, or substance use counseling is highly desirable.
• Experience working in outpatient settings and familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and client caseload size.
