Work Environment

The Physical Therapist role at our facility is an onsite position where you will enjoy an engaging, supportive, and collaborative work environment. Our outpatient office emphasizes teamwork and patient-centered care, providing you with daily opportunities to work alongside experienced professionals and learn innovative treatment strategies. We operate Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring that our therapists maintain a healthy work-life balance while delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patient conditions through thorough examinations, identifying targets for rehabilitation.
• Manage a structured caseload, typically seeing one patient per hour, allowing for focused and effective treatment sessions.
• Implement evidence-based practices to develop comprehensive treatment plans that utilize a variety of techniques aimed at enhancing mobility.
• Utilize manual therapy and exercise regimens tailored specifically to meet the physical needs of individual patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment strategies to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate and motivate patients throughout their journey to recovery, ensuring they are engaged in their rehabilitation process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, sharing insights and strategies to further optimize patient care.
• Maintain up-to-date and thorough documentation of all treatment services within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance and quality assurance.
• Advocate for alternative solutions that minimize reliance on medications and surgical interventions, promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) qualification is required.
• Must hold a valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in the state of California.

• Proficient in manual therapy techniques with a focus on rehabilitation for orthopedic patients.
• Experience in crafting and directing individualized exercise programs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is an advantage.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Demonstrated success in developing patient-centered treatment plans with favorable outcomes.
• Proficiency in patient education, particularly concerning self-management and rehabilitation techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
