Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough physical examinations for patients of various age groups, focusing on both acute and chronic health concerns.
• Diagnose and treat a wide range of common ailments and conditions, tailoring care strategies to meet individual patient needs.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tests, including medical imaging and laboratory tests, to guide treatment decisions and patient management plans.
• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans, ensuring ongoing assessment and adjustment based on patient progress.
• Prescribe appropriate medications and treatments based on clinical guidelines and personalized patient assessments.
• Maintain meticulous and accurate medical records using ICD-9 coding standards, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with healthcare professionals to coordinate and enhance patient care initiatives effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily serves school-aged patients and young adults, addressing a diverse spectrum of medical concerns, from routine check-ups to urgent health issues. Your expertise will be critical in guiding children and their families through medical challenges while fostering a supportive and reassuring environment.

Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Nurse Practitioner, ideally within urgent care, pediatrics, or acute care.
• A Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with licensure as a Nurse Practitioner.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems, particularly Cerner, which allows for seamless documentation and patient tracking.
• Knowledge of family health principles, pharmacology, and medical terminology.
• Experience providing care to diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with chronic health issues would be valuable.
• Capability to perform specialized procedures, such as botulinum toxin treatments, enhancing your skill set for this role.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
