Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities and limitations, creating accurate assessments of their needs.
• Establish and customize treatment plans based on individual patient evaluations that leverage various therapeutic modalities including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and advanced equipment.
• Document treatment sessions meticulously, tracking patient progress and responding to outcomes to ensure optimal care is provided.
• Reassess patient goals regularly, adapting treatment plans as necessary to align with changes in patient status.
• Provide guidance and training for patients, family members, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices as well as best practices for continued care at home.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, participating in professional societies, and fostering network connections within the healthcare industry.
• Utilize advanced rehabilitation tools and software to manage patient files, outcomes, and treatment notes effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Northern Light Physical Therapy Services, you will work with a diverse patient population. Qualifications

• Completed Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy, ensuring compliance with Virginia state regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in documentation and patient management software.
• Strong adaptability and capacity to manage a varied caseload.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
