Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments, understanding each patient's unique background to devise personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation of patient progress in line with federal and state guidelines as well as ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse patient base, including individuals from various ethnic backgrounds, LGBTQ+ communities, and those facing challenges as immigrants. By bringing an understanding of cultural dynamics to your practice, you will significantly contribute to reducing barriers to care and improving health outcomes among underserved populations.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York State.
\n
• Strong foundation in mental health disorders, evidence-based therapeutic techniques, and cultural competence in therapy.

• Experience conducting both individual and group therapy sessions with a focus on inclusive approaches, demonstrating flexibility and responsiveness.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations.

• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, adept at building rapport with a broad range of individuals.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital applications.

• A commitment to ethical practice and the maintenance of strict professional boundaries and patient confidentiality.

• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n
