Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting within an outpatient office, allowing for flexibility in the work-life balance while maintaining a strong connection with clients through virtual therapy. You will typically work from Monday to Friday, with a standard schedule from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. However, some flexibility may be required to accommodate the varied needs of our patients and ensure their mental health needs are met promptly.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique circumstances, leading to personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions to address patients' needs, ensuring that the interventions are tailored to their cultural and individual backgrounds.

• Lead individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing a variety of mental health issues, fostering resilience, and promoting personal growth.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to provide integrated care for our clients.

• Facilitate crisis intervention and provide immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

You will be working primarily with a diverse clientele from various ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, and identities, including individuals from the LGBTQ+ community and immigrant populations. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or a related license in the state of New York.

• Demonstrated knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, particularly those that incorporate cultural competence.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy in a culturally responsive manner, adapting your approach to meet the needs of diverse clients.

• Strong crisis intervention skills alongside the ability to maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to connect effectively with individuals from all backgrounds.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant digital tools.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
