This position is based in our outpatient office located in Appomattox, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, which include reviewing medical histories, performing physical assessments, and determining individual treatment recommendations.
• Clearly communicate evaluation findings and treatment plans to patients and their families, incorporating their input into goal-setting discussions.
• Implement and adjust treatment protocols based on evaluations and patient needs, staying up to date with the latest healthcare practices.
• Consult with other healthcare providers as necessary, documenting any changes in patient conditions and adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Oversee discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure the continuum of care, while maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment outcomes.
• Manage your time effectively to meet productivity benchmarks while actively participating in community outreach and marketing initiatives.
• Contribute to the achievement of departmental goals by complying with regulatory standards and participating in ongoing quality improvement processes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license as required for practice in Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
• No prior experience is necessary, making this an excellent opportunity for new graduates or those looking to transition into the physical therapy field.

Preferred Experience

• While prior work experience is not mandatory, familiarity with outpatient rehabilitation settings and experience with various patient demographics will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
