Work Environment

This position is designed for a work week of approximately 40 hours, typically operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The ENT department is equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities that enable our team to deliver top-tier healthcare services efficiently. With a focus on collaboration, our work environment encourages teamwork and open communication among healthcare professionals, ensuring a supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. As part of the department, you may also have on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis to address patient emergencies and urgent care situations, ensuring continuous support for our community.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive medical assessments, including patient history and physical examinations specific to ENT conditions.
• Diagnose a wide range of ENT disorders and develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based practices.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as imaging studies and laboratory tests, to inform clinical decisions.
• Educate patients and their families about medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care strategies, ensuring they understand their health and treatment journey.
• Collaborate closely with attending physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to create a cohesive care plan tailored to the patient’s unique needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records using our hospital's EMR system, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay abreast of advancements in ENT care through continuous professional development and participation in relevant educational opportunities.

Qualifications

• Valid Physician Assistant (PA) license in New Jersey.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years experience is required, we highly value candidates with extensive experience in outpatient ENT settings.
