Work Environment

The Surgical Center in Elizabeth provides a vibrant and engaging work setting, with a typical work schedule encompassing approximately 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The selected ENT Physician Assistant will work on-site, collaborating closely with physicians, specialists, and nursing teams to strive for excellence in patient outcomes. Additionally, the position may entail on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis, ensuring our patients receive 24/7 care when needed. Specifics about the on-call duties will be tailored during the interview to accommodate personal and professional well-being.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough medical assessments and ENT examinations, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each patient’s condition.
• Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans, including non-surgical and surgical interventions for a wide range of ear, nose, and throat issues.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs to aid in accurate diagnosis.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families regarding treatment options, recovery expectations, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to enhance patient care, attending team meetings and contributing to cohesive treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with health regulations, ensuring that all patient interactions are documented thoroughly.
• Engage in continuous learning by staying current with advancements in ENT practice and participating in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Physician Assistant (PA) license.
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, with a strong academic foundation in medical sciences.

• Proven ability to work effectively within a collaborative healthcare team oriented towards quality care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physician Assistant, preferably in an outpatient or surgical setting focusing on ENT.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 250,000 to 350,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
