Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will be entrusted with the following key responsibilities:

• Maintain a dedicated caseload of clients, ensuring the establishment of rapport and positive relationships while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss stability, and plan for appropriate discharge when needed.

• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, continuously monitoring client progress and adapting approaches as necessary.

• Complete detailed documentation and progress notes for each client, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Conduct intake assessments to gather comprehensive information and determine the needs of new clients.

• Facilitate individual therapy sessions weekly, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.

• Engage in regular individual supervision to enhance professional development and address clinical challenges.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for clients, ensuring coordinated treatment efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses primarily on youth clients, providing mental health counseling that addresses a range of issues including anxiety, depression, behavioral disturbances, and family-related concerns. Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Hold current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

• Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements applicable to clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, diagnosis, and both individual and group therapy.

• Basic computer skills, including experience with documentation software and familiarity with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
