Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rocky Meadow Counseling, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Maintaining a diverse caseload of clients, building rapport through empathetic communication, and establishing professional therapeutic relationships while adhering to ethical boundaries and standards.

• Conducting regular progress meetings with clients to review mental health stability, assess needs, and schedule subsequent sessions or discharge plans when appropriate.
\n
• Creating, implementing, and monitoring personalized treatment plans that are centered on the individual's unique needs, ensuring that all goals align with the client’s desired outcomes.

• Documenting clinical interactions meticulously, including detailed progress notes and treatment updates, ensuring client records are accurate and up to date.
\n
• Performing comprehensive intake assessments to evaluate new clients, identifying their needs, strengths, and areas for growth.
\n
• Engaging in individual therapy sessions that utilize evidence-based practices to support client autonomy and resilience.
\n
• Participating in regular individual supervision, fostering professional growth, skill enhancement, and clinical insight.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers and stakeholders to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Adopting and maintaining a growth mindset that emphasizes continuous learning and self-improvement in therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Specializing in youth mental health, our clinic serves a population that includes children and adolescents facing a variety of challenges, including emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and substance use problems. You will be pivotal in creating individualized strategies to support these clients and help them thrive emotionally and socially.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in mental health counseling, social work, or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts.

• Ability to fulfill internal credentialing requirements specific to our clinical setting.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing both individual and group therapy.
\n
• Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with digital documentation systems and basic keyboarding proficiency.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a community health setting or similar environment.

• Exposure to evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

Compensation and Benefits\n
