In this full-time remote role, the ideal candidate will provide a blend of telehealth and face-to-face therapeutic sessions, primarily focused on trauma-informed care. This position is centered in White Plains, Maryland.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand patients' histories and formulate appropriate treatment strategies.

• Develop customized treatment plans that are focused on trauma recovery and building resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions to support clients in processing trauma, crafting effective coping strategies, and promoting healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure a well-rounded approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to help mitigate immediate distress.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and available community resources.

• Keep precise and confidential documentation that adheres to legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in team meetings, consultations, and professional development activities focused on best practices in trauma care.

• Stay informed about the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master's or doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid and current LMHC license in Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 110,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
