Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient’s trauma history and guide your treatment approach.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, utilizing a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to address each patient’s specific needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process trauma, develop coping strategies, and enhance emotional resilience.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated patient care and ensure holistic treatment pathways.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating empathy and effective problem-solving under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and community resources available for ongoing support.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities aimed at advancing trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and techniques in trauma therapy, ensuring that your practice remains current and effective.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse client population who have experienced various forms of trauma. Your ability to relate to patients from different backgrounds, while using trauma-informed care approaches, will be crucial in helping them navigate their recovery journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.
\n
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, supplemented by a non-judgmental, empathetic demeanor.
\n
• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations and deliver effective interventions.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant computer applications.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-focused therapies.

• Experience in both individual and group therapeutic settings.

• Background in crisis intervention and emergency response related to trauma.

Compensation and Benefits\n
