Work Environment\n

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing flexibility while ensuring you are connected to a collaborative team focused on providing exceptional outpatient services. Scheduled from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, occasional evening shifts may be required to meet patient needs. You will utilize modern telehealth technologies to conduct therapy sessions and team meetings, ensuring a seamless integration of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of each child and adolescent.

• Formulate and implement personalized treatment plans, taking into account individual developmental stages and family dynamics.

• Apply evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to effectively address various mental health concerns.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions to assist parents and caregivers in fostering a supportive home environment.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic treatment approaches.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate support during mental health emergencies.

• Educate patients and their families regarding mental health issues and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.

• Engage actively in team meetings, peer consultations, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Continuously update knowledge of current research and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses on supporting children and adolescents facing a variety of mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will play a crucial role in fostering resilience and recovery in young individuals and contribute to strengthening their family support systems.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of California.

• Strong knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and treatment planning.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with children and adolescents is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Family Health Behavioral Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
