Work Environment

Your practice will take place in a telehealth setting, enabling you to connect with clients remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand clients' mental health issues, followed by the development of tailored treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions utilizing effective therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based frameworks that align with clients’ needs.
• Collaborate with clients to establish therapeutic goals, continuously monitor their progress, and adapt plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy services to enhance accessibility for clients with various circumstances, ensuring they receive timely support.
• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes, adhering to both ethical standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in ongoing education and professional development activities to stay current with best practices and enhance clinical skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges such as trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship issues. You will work with clients from different backgrounds, ages, and demographics, allowing you to apply a comprehensive understanding of mental health to facilitate healing and growth.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license from the state of California as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on establishing a safe, trusting therapeutic alliance with clients.
• An empathetic and non-judgmental approach to client care, recognizing the uniqueness of each individual's experience.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, preferably in a private practice or telehealth environment.
• Proficient in various therapeutic techniques and the ability to apply them flexibly based on individual client needs.
• Experience working with diverse populations and varying mental health issues, showcasing the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches accordingly.
