About the Organization

Capital Life Orthopedics is a well-established orthopedic outpatient practice located in sunny Chula Vista, California. Our facility spans an impressive 5,000 square feet and is equipped with state-of-the-art sports medicine technology. We focus on providing comprehensive care to our clients, primarily those insured through private medical plans. Our team comprises two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), all committed to delivering high-quality, personalized physical therapy services.

Work Environment

This position is full-time and requires you to work onsite in our modern clinic. Our typical work hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM. In this outpatient setting, you will oversee a manageable patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring that you can provide focused and attentive care tailored to each patient's needs. Key Responsibilities

• Recognize and address the individual goals and needs of each patient effectively, fostering an environment of healing and support.
• Maintain a patient load of one individual per hour, allowing for thorough treatment sessions focused on maximizing outcomes.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to offer cost-effective treatments aimed at improving patients' mobility.
• Minimize the reliance on medications by exploring non-surgical alternatives and developing individualized care plans that incorporate a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques.
• Design customized fitness and wellness programs that cater specifically to the unique requirements of each patient.
• Deliver high-quality, personalized care based on established best practices and proven interventions.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey to optimize their functional capabilities and enhance their overall well-being.
• Promote a healthy lifestyle by enhancing strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness, monitor progress diligently, and maintain open lines of communication with both patients and colleagues.
• Accurately document all services provided to ensure comprehensive patient care and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at Capital Life Orthopedics primarily consists of individuals with various orthopedic conditions, enhanced through our targeted physical therapy approach. Qualifications

• Candidates must have successfully completed a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapist license in California is required.
• Applicants should have no records of board actions or disciplinary measures associated with their license.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and a solid understanding of exercise programs are essential.
• Familiarity with EMR software, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable for effective patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is strongly preferred.
• A successful track record of developing and implementing individualized rehabilitation plans will be considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 125,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
