Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patients’ histories and identify appropriate treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to foster trauma recovery and resilience among clients.

• Utilize evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Provide crisis intervention in high-stress situations to ensure patient safety and address immediate needs.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, to deliver comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to each patient’s needs.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in line with legal and ethical standards, ensuring each patient’s journey is well-documented.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development activities focused on the latest trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms, empowering them as active participants in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The target population includes individuals impacted by trauma, primarily those navigating the complexities of PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through their recovery journeys, providing them with the tools and strategies necessary for building resilience and regaining control over their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid LMFT, LPC, or LCSW licensure in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-related disorders, in addition to comprehensive knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating both a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to patient interactions.

• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism during challenging situations.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, candidates with demonstrated expertise in trauma-focused therapies and a track record of successfully implementing intervention strategies will stand out. Experience with crisis intervention and crisis management is also a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
