Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at El Gloria Counseling Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough trauma-informed assessments to understand the specific histories and needs of patients, which will guide the development of their individualized treatment plans.

• Formulating and executing evidence-based treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and promoting overall mental well-being.
\n
• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions employing therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Providing immediate crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring the safety and stabilization of patients in distress.
\n
• Engaging in cross-disciplinary collaboration to develop holistic treatment approaches and integrated care plans, working closely alongside psychiatrists and healthcare providers.

• Offering education to patients and their families concerning trauma responses, coping strategies, and the resources available to support their healing journey.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and strict documentation of patient histories, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Participating in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development activities focused on maintaining a forefront approach to trauma-informed care.

• Staying abreast of the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The primary clientele for this position includes adults who have experienced trauma, ranging from severe PTSD to complex trauma and dissociative disorders. As a therapist, you will nurture a therapeutic relationship, allowing clients to explore their experiences, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster a healing environment conducive to recovery. Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Arizona.
\n
• Solid foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience\n

While not required, the following experience is highly desirable:

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, particularly with populations affected by trauma.

• Demonstrated proficiency in delivering trauma-focused therapeutic interventions and techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 90,000 – 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
