Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment aimed at preventing disability, relieving pain, and restoring muscle function as per the individualized treatment plan.
• Evaluate patient's function and mobility through diagnostic tests and outcomes assessments, ensuring personalized care.
• Conduct thorough assessments of home environments to promote independence and recommend necessary adaptations for patient Rehabilitation.
• Provide in-home physical therapy services based on physician prescriptions, ensuring continuity of care.
• Administer manual and non-manual therapeutic exercises, guiding patients through exercises and functional activities to maximize recovery.
• Fitting and adjusting prosthetic and orthotic devices, consulting with physicians for any necessary modifications.
• Document evaluations and progress notes comprehensively for each patient, including OASIS and discharge summaries.
• Actively participate in multidisciplinary case conferences, collaborating with other healthcare disciplines to ensure cohesive treatment strategies.
• Conduct training sessions with patients and their families, teaching them about care routines and rehabilitation devices.
• Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing certain aspects of the treatment plan, providing guidance as needed to ensure quality care.
• Remain accessible during therapy sessions to provide oversight and direct support to Physical Therapy Assistants.
• Fulfill administrative duties by timely submission of clinical documentation and participation in quality improvement initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As part of our team, you will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from post-operative recovery patients to individuals with chronic pain, neurological disorders, and sports injuries. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program is preferred.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a physical therapist, ideally in a rehabilitation or home care setting.
• Current PT licensure in Florida in good standing.
• Current CPR certification and basic lifesaving skills.
• Ability to cultivate a positive team-oriented atmosphere, demonstrating excellent interpersonal skills with patients and colleagues.
• High energy, strong work ethic, and dedication to ongoing professional development and clinical excellence.
• Proficiency in understanding federal, state, and governing agency regulations related to physical therapy practice.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in managing a caseload of diverse patients and developing effective rehabilitation plans.
• Background in using electronic health record systems for patient documentation.
• Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically in assessing and processing complex patient cases.

Compensation and Benefits

The Vitality Physio-Rehab Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
