Key Responsibilities

• Direct physical therapy treatment to prevent disability, relieve pain, enhance muscle function, and optimize performance according to a prescribed plan of care.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants, ensuring adherence to established care plans and best practices in therapy.
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical capabilities through diagnostic testing and assessments to tailor individual treatment plans.
• Analyze the home and rehabilitation environment, implementing strategies to promote client independence and adapt therapy as needed.
• Administer therapeutic exercises, instructing clients in both manual and non-manual rehabilitation techniques.
• Evaluate, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, collaborating with physicians for recommendations on modifications.
• Maintain accurate clinical records, including evaluations, care plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Engage as a member of the interdisciplinary team during case conferences to create comprehensive treatment plans for clients.
• Provide insights and recommendations to patients and families related to home care requirements and physical therapy devices.
• Participate actively in continuous professional development to stay current with the latest rehabilitation practices and methodologies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient population includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain disorders. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.

• Current valid physical therapy licensure in good standing for the State of Florida.
• Maintaining CPR certification is mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

Physiolife Physical Therapy offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 80,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience.
