This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work in a remote setting while serving clients from our outpatient office. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to determine clients’ mental health status, including psychological and emotional challenges.
• Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans that align with clinical best practices and client goals.
• Provide regular counseling sessions with clients, utilizing various evidence-based therapeutic methods tailored to each individual's needs.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions that promote community and connection among clients experiencing similar challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists, to ensure comprehensive care and effective treatment pathways for clients.
• Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain accurate and up-to-date client documentation and treatment records.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including participation in workshops and training to enhance skills and knowledge.
• Actively participate in team meetings and case discussions to promote a cohesive approach to client care within the multidisciplinary team.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This position will primarily involve working with patients facing a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse disorders, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders. Our diverse client base requires the ability to engage with individuals from varied backgrounds and experiences, employing culturally sensitive approaches that honor each client's unique journey towards healing.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of four years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and cultural competencies in providing therapy.
• Proven crisis intervention skills and the ability to manage high-pressure situations with poise.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport and foster trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Competency in using EHR systems and familiarity with digital communication tools.
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and maintaining client confidentiality at all times.

Preferred Experience

• Experience delivering therapy using a range of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.
• Demonstrated involvement in community outreach, education, or advocacy related to mental health awareness.
• Previous experience working in a remote setting is preferred but not required.
