Embrace Life Behavioral Health Center is actively seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This full-time position entails providing high-quality, trauma-informed care to individuals facing the lingering effects of traumatic experiences. Work Environment

This position allows for a remote work setting, providing you the flexibility to maintain a work-life balance while reaching patients in need. With a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, there may be occasional adjustments to accommodate patient needs. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team that collaborates on an ongoing basis, allowing for the exchange of insights and strategies tailored to individual patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gather comprehensive histories relevant to each patient's experiences and needs.
• Develop and personalize treatment plans focusing on trauma recovery goals, integrating multiple therapeutic modalities to meet each patient's unique situation.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing specialized interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to deepen healing processes.
• Collaborate closely with a network of psychiatrists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to guarantee seamless and effective care for every patient.
• Provide crisis intervention support to patients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring immediate and compassionate assistance.
• Guide patients and their families through educational sessions regarding trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them to manage challenges more effectively.
• Maintain meticulous documentation aligned with state and federal regulations to ensure accuracy and confidentiality in all patient dealings.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending case consultations and team meetings, fostering an atmosphere of growth and learning.
• Keep abreast of the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy practices to provide patients with state-of-the-art care interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role centers on trauma survivors of diverse backgrounds. You will work with individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, including PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Your expertise will allow you to tailor therapeutic approaches that resonate with the unique experiences and needs of each client, providing them with the tools to process their trauma and reclaim their lives.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably with a focus on trauma recovery.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and therapeutic modalities that promote resilience and recovery.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, embodying a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client interactions.
• Ability to maintain composure and professionalism under stress, with adeptness in managing crises as they arise.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with relevant computer programs.
• A collaborative spirit that thrives in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in trauma-focused interventions, such as EMDR or TF-CBT, is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations with a variety of trauma experiences.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000, commensurate with experience. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
