Key Responsibilities Conduct one-on-one sessions with clients through video conferencing platforms to support their mental well-being and development. Guide clients in discussing their emotions, experiences, and mental health struggles, facilitating insights that foster personal growth and healing. Act as an advocate for clients, helping them articulate their goals and navigate their treatment paths. Assess clients’ mental health conditions diligently and develop comprehensive treatment plans that utilize solution-based strategies aligned with your clinical expertise. Patient Population / Client Focus The clients you will serve are prescreened, stable individuals with low acuity mental health concerns. This allows you to focus on therapeutic methods that promote sustained personal development and support. You will work closely with a diverse range of clients, ensuring your interventions take into account their unique backgrounds and experiences. Qualifications Education: A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution. Licensing: An independent mental health license, including but not limited to: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach to client care. Proficiency in using technology and electronic health record systems. Preferred Experience A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating a solid background in individual therapy. Experience working with diverse client populations, reflecting an understanding of varying cultural backgrounds. Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy methodologies.
