Key Responsibilities

As a Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand clients' needs and challenges.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical best practices and client goals.
• Delivering effective individual therapy sessions, utilizing various modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness techniques, and motivational interviewing to foster personal growth.
• Establishing therapeutic goals and closely monitoring client progress to adapt treatment approaches accordingly.
• Providing teletherapy services to accommodate clients’ accessibility needs, ensuring continuity of care.
• Maintaining accurate documentation in line with ethical standards and best practices for mental health professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will directly impact a diverse clientele including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other mental health concerns. By utilizing telehealth services, you will engage with clients from various backgrounds, offering support that is both accessible and tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for establishing rapport and trust with clients.
• An empathetic and non-judgmental attitude, focusing on creating a safe space for clients to share their experiences.
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to effectively manage caseloads and administrative responsibilities.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in telehealth counseling, particularly with diverse populations, or those who have specialized training in trauma-informed care will be given preference. Familiarity with electronic health record systems for client documentation and billing processes will also be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with your caseload and professional experience. In addition to financial compensation, our benefits package includes:
