The work setting for this position is primarily remote, allowing you to engage with clients in a flexible and comfortable space. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs and devise personalized, comprehensive treatment plans that align with their treatment goals.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy, to deliver effective interventions to individuals, couples, and families.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups that help foster community awareness and peer support regarding mental health issues.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies while ensuring patient safety.
• Educate patients about their mental health challenges, appropriate treatment options, and available community resources to enhance their understanding and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress in accordance with ethical and legal standards.
• Actively participate in case consultations and professional development seminars to stay updated with contemporary research and practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Patient First Counseling Center, we serve a diverse client demographic, addressing an array of mental health issues ranging from depression and anxiety to bipolar disorder and substance abuse. Qualifications

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and proficiencies in evidence-based treatment methods and therapeutic approaches.
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate mental health needs and compose effective, individualized treatment plans.
• Experience providing therapy in both individual and group settings with varied populations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that foster rapport with clients and support team collaboration.
• Strong decision-making skills with a commitment to ethical practice and professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems, enhancing your efficiency in patient documentation and management.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience working in an outpatient setting and familiarity with teletherapy practices.
• Experience in crisis intervention and knowledge of local mental health resources.
• A background in implementing group therapy sessions and leading community outreach programs.
• Continued professional development through attending workshops or obtaining additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits
