Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our modern rehabilitation facility located in Perth Amboy, NJ, where you will work directly with patients in an open treatment area, ensuring a collaborative atmosphere. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine the appropriate therapeutic interventions.
• Develop and implement custom exercise programs and rehabilitation strategies that address individual patient needs.
• Utilize advanced manual therapy techniques and soft tissue mobilization to enhance patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation goals, exercises, and techniques to encourage compliance and engagement in their recovery process.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on observed outcomes and patient feedback.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize rehabilitation protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with outpatient orthopedic patients who may be recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions affecting their musculoskeletal systems. Our diverse clientele ranges from athletes to seniors, each requiring personalized treatment plans that cater to their unique rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist (PT) issued by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
• Proficient manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization skills.
• Strong assessment skills suitable for a direct access practice.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years in outpatient orthopedic settings is required, candidates with additional experience in specialized areas, such as sports rehabilitation or post-surgical recovery, will find this to be a rewarding opportunity to further develop their expertise. Additional certifications in advanced therapeutic techniques are also welcomed and can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
