Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a home care setting, where you will visit patients in their residences across the Trenton area. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments by consulting with patients to understand their physical conditions and symptoms, ensuring an informed approach to treatment.
• Diagnose movement dysfunctions and collaboratively develop customized treatment plans aimed at addressing specific patient goals.
• Educate patients on therapeutic exercise techniques, ensuring they understand proper form and motivation to enhance their recovery.
• Implement manual therapies such as massage and stimulation techniques to promote healing and relieve pain.
• Assist patients with mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers, ensuring they feel safe and confident in their movements.
• Thoroughly maintain accurate patient records, carefully tracking progress, goals, and ongoing adjustments to treatment plans.
• Engage with patients and their families to provide insights on in-home treatment strategies, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their recovery process.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.

Preferred Experience

While prior experience in home health care is preferred, it is not strictly required. Compensation and Benefits
