Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' histories, emotional needs, and therapeutic goals.

• Develop individualized treatment plans that address specific trauma recovery needs while promoting resilience and coping strategies.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process their trauma and build effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure holistic care and coordinated treatment plans for clients.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies, ensuring compassionate and immediate assistance.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, available resources, and effective coping techniques.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional training workshops on trauma-informed care methodologies.

• Stay updated on the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our practice specializes in supporting individuals affected by a range of trauma-related issues, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work directly with clients from diverse backgrounds, each with unique experiences and recovery journeys.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in New Jersey.
\n
• Strong foundation in trauma-informed care principles and practices.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental demeanor with clients.

• Proficient in using EHR systems and standard computer applications.
\n
• Ability to work efficiently in a remote setting, managing time and productivity effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on trauma-related therapies.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
