Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to evaluate the unique needs of each child and adolescent.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account developmental stages and family dynamics, to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and play therapy, tailored to the diverse needs of clients.

• Collaborate closely with a team of child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to facilitate coordinated and holistic care for clients.

• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies for children and their families.

• Engage in educational initiatives with both clients and their families, providing information regarding mental health conditions, treatment options, and available community resources.

• Maintain detailed and compliant documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

• Stay updated on current research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be on young patients ranging from early childhood to late adolescence, providing therapy for various mental health concerns. Your work will directly impact their emotional, behavioral, and psychological well-being and help them build resilience in facing life's challenges.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Arizona.

• A comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders, therapeutic modalities, and evidence-based practices.

• Extensive experience providing individual and family therapy to children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills, enabling the establishment of trust and rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
