Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand clients' histories, needs, and goals, enabling the establishment of effective treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery while promoting resilience and coping strategies tailored to the unique circumstances of each client.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), facilitating trauma processing and healing.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions where clients are supported in processing trauma, exploring emotions, and learning coping techniques in a safe environment.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care that addresses both mental health and physical wellness.
• Provide timely crisis intervention to support clients during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring that they have immediate access to the help they need.
• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses and available resources, empowering them with knowledge to aid in their recovery journey.
• Maintain precise and confidential documentation of treatment plans and therapy sessions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development activities to enhance trauma-informed care competencies.
• Stay current with the latest research and best practices in trauma therapy to deliver the highest quality of care to clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on supporting individuals who have experienced significant trauma. This includes survivors of abuse, veterans, individuals facing displacement, and others impacted by complex trauma. Qualifications

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.
• Strong foundational knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed treatment modalities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach when engaging with clients.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to enhance efficiency in service delivery.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, we value diverse experiences and perspectives. Experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies will set you up for success in this role. Additionally, a track record of collaborating within multidisciplinary teams to provide integrated care is highly advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
