Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to understand patients' trauma histories and tailor effective treatment strategies.

• Develop and implement detailed, individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing best practices and therapeutic modalities.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support client healing.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on trauma processing, coping strategy development, and psychological healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure an integrated care plan that addresses all facets of the patient's wellbeing.

• Provide timely crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies and support patients through distressing situations.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, offering guidance on available resources to aid in recovery.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards regarding patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals who have experienced trauma and face associated mental health challenges. Your expertise will facilitate recovery for a diverse client base, including those suffering from PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other trauma-related disorders. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey.

Compensation and Benefits\n
