Work Environment\n

This remote position allows you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with patients who are seeking help for their mental health challenges. Our structured work hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility needed to accommodate the scheduling requirements of patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments that evaluate patients' trauma history and identify effective treatment strategies.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, resilience-building, and overall mental well-being.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to support patient healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing supportive environments for patients to process their trauma and develop coping skills.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies to stabilize patients and connect them with appropriate resources.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and available support services to foster understanding and healing.

• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring that all patient interactions are accurately recorded.

• Engage in team meetings and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care to continuously improve service delivery and patient support.

• Stay informed about the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to provide the highest standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work within a patient population primarily comprised of trauma survivors. This includes individuals facing challenges associated with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our approach prioritizes creating a safe, supportive atmosphere where patients can share their experiences and work toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of New Jersey.

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-licensure experience in a mental health setting.

• Extensive knowledge of trauma-related disorders, trauma-informed treatment modalities, and effective resilience-building strategies.

• Proven experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies, demonstrating a compassionate and patient-centered therapeutic approach.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to maintain a calm demeanor in high-stress situations.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital applications relevant for therapy and documentation.

• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team advocating for patients’ needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
