Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting findings effectively.
• Developing and explaining individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results, while engaging patients and their families in goal-setting processes.
• Implementing evidence-based treatment protocols tailored to the patient's specific needs and adjusting plans as their condition evolves.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and continuity of treatment.
• Monitoring and documenting changes in patients' conditions, ensuring timely updates to their care plans and necessary consultations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will enable you to build rapport and trust with patients of varying ages and backgrounds, supporting their journey towards recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• A valid state license for physical therapy as applicable.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
