Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks including:

• Conducting thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients' history and craft personalized treatment strategies.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans that emphasize trauma recovery, resilience, and overall mental well-being.

• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to each patient's unique needs.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at helping clients process trauma, build coping strategies, and foster healing.

• Working collaboratively with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a seamless and integrated care experience for each patient.

• Providing crisis intervention and emergency support tailored for trauma-related situations.

• Educating clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and community resources available to them.

• Maintaining precise and confidential documentation, adhering to legal and ethical healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

Candidates must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• Demonstrated expertise in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on empathy, active listening, and a non-judgmental approach.

• Strong ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining composure and professionalism.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and digital tools essential for modern therapy practices.

Preferred Experience\n
