Work Environment

The rehabilitation center in Leesburg is designed to be a welcoming and well-equipped facility, enabling our team to provide state-of-the-art therapy services. As an onsite Physical Therapist, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and rehabilitation assistants, to create a seamless care experience for our patients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive initial and ongoing physical therapy evaluations that adhere to established standards and state regulations.
• Assess patients' mobility, strength, and function levels using standardized tests and observational methods, while setting realistic and attainable goals tailored to individual needs.
• Develop and document detailed Plans of Treatment for each patient, incorporating specific short-term and long-term goals, and coordinating input from relevant staff and caregivers.
• Implement therapeutic interventions consistently, modifying treatment plans based on patient progress, and maintaining compliance with best practice guidelines.
• Maintain meticulous records of patient treatment and outcomes in accordance with medical and facility standards, allowing for comprehensive tracking of progress.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and reviewing current literature, ensuring practice stays aligned with the latest advancements in physical therapy.
• Collaborate closely with team members to enhance patient care and maintain a safe and orderly rehabilitation environment.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients we serve typically face orthopedic conditions resulting from surgical interventions, injuries, or chronic issues requiring rehabilitation. As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, you will work with a diverse population, spanning various age groups, from young athletes recovering from injuries to older adults aiming to regain mobility for daily activities. Your ability to build rapport and motivate patients will be key in guiding them toward successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Earned Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a preference for candidates holding a Master's or Doctorate Degree from an accredited institution.
• Possession of an active Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, including AED proficiency.
• A minimum of 2 years experience providing direct physical therapy services, with particular expertise in orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.
• Demonstrated empathy and a compassionate approach to patient care, alongside the capacity to motivate individuals to push their limits safely.
• Strong understanding of facility equipment operation and best practices for maintenance and safety.

Preferred Experience

While the required experience is a baseline for this role, we welcome candidates with additional certifications or specialized training in orthopedic therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, or manual therapy techniques. Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems will be viewed favorably.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications.
