Position Overview

Harmony in Motion Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Freehold, New Jersey. Work Environment

This full-time position will require you to work onsite, primarily in patients' homes, where you will experience a dynamic working environment that prioritizes individualized care. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients in their home environments to determine their physical therapy needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that involve a variety of therapeutic techniques including exercise, manual therapy, and use of assistive devices.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking treatments, responses, and outcomes to ensure continuity of care.
• Reassess treatment plans regularly, modifying goals and methods as required to optimize patient recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about therapeutic techniques, self-care strategies, and the use of equipment to promote independence.
• Advocate for patients by recommending appropriate assistive devices to facilitate safe mobility and enhance quality of life.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, networking, and participation in relevant professional societies to stay current in physical therapy best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will be working with a diverse demographic, treating children, adults, and the elderly. The focus will be on patients recovering from various conditions such as orthopedic injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, stroke recovery, and chronic pain management. Your specialized skills in home care will allow you to closely monitor patient responses to therapy in a familiar and comfortable environment, leading to more effective outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory to practice.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, essential for patient interaction and documentation.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications to maintain accurate patient records.
• Must possess high adaptability and the ability to navigate various home settings efficiently.

Preferred Experience

Candidates should have a minimum of two years of experience in physical therapy, preferably in a home care setting, although we are willing to consider motivated new graduates who are eager to learn and grow in their careers.

Compensation and Benefits
