Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and trauma-informed mental health assessments to meticulously evaluate clients' trauma histories and determine the most effective treatment pathways.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans that promote trauma recovery and resilience, utilizing evidence-based techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on assisting clients in processing their trauma and developing robust coping strategies to promote healing.

• Maintain ongoing collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for each client.

• Provide crisis intervention support for clients facing trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating empathy and professionalism in high-stress situations.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available community resources, empowering them on their healing journeys.

• Ensure precise and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education opportunities to refresh your knowledge in trauma-informed care.

You will primarily work with individuals navigating the complexities of trauma, including survivors of abuse, accidents, and significant life events. The demographic may vary in age and background, requiring a flexible approach in your therapeutic practices that respects each client’s unique experiences and cultural contexts.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.
\n
• Robust understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health records and other relevant technology in a remote setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-focused interventions.

Compensation and Benefits\n
