Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, ensuring thorough documentation from initial consultations to the conclusion of treatment.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that address the individual needs of clients, utilizing evidence-based practices.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe and supportive space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.

• Monitor client progress consistently, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance effectiveness.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to deliver integrated care.

• Follow up with healthcare providers regarding clients admitted to hospitals, ensuring continuity of care and appropriate support.

• Help families and primary caregivers develop strategies to manage mental health challenges effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse array of clients, ranging from individuals struggling with anxiety and depression to families facing significant relational challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Nevada.

• A passing score on the National Counselor Exam (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a focus on clear and compassionate client interactions.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, demonstrating an empathetic and sensitive approach to patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working as a mental health counselor in a clinical setting.

• Experience in managing emotional and behavioral health conditions, including addiction disorders.

• Familiarity with the practices recommended by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
