Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, gathering a thorough history and performing targeted assessments.
• Communicate evaluation findings and treatment recommendations effectively to patients and their families, actively involving them in goal-setting processes.
• Implement individualized treatment protocols tailored to each patient's needs, based on assessment findings and ongoing evaluations of progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Document patient care activities accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and providing a clear course of care documentation.
• Engage actively in discharge planning, ensuring follow-up care aligns with patient needs and expectations.
• Meet productivity expectations while promoting effective time management and maintaining an organized schedule.
• Participate in departmental meetings and marketing initiatives to enhance community relationships and patient access to care.
• Engage in professional development through continuing education and mentoring opportunities, including serving as a clinical instructor for students.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role is vital in helping these patients regain mobility, strength, and independence, significantly enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Valid state license for physical therapy practice in Virginia.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• A genuine passion for helping patients progress in their rehabilitation journeys.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 – 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and skill level. In addition to financial compensation, the benefits package includes:
