We are seeking a committed and passionate full-time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dynamic team at Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy LTD. Our state-of-the-art facility spans 5,000 square feet and is equipped with the latest technologies in sports medicine. We prioritize providing exceptional care to our patients, who mainly come from private medical insurance backgrounds. Our team consists of dedicated professionals, including two experienced physical therapists and a physical therapist assistant (PTA), all focused on fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both patients and staff.

Work Environment

This position is onsite at our rehabilitative center, which provides a warm, welcoming, and supportive atmosphere. You will work alongside a team of committed professionals who share a unified goal of enhancing patient recovery and well-being. Your weekdays will primarily consist of working Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while engaging with your patients in a focused, dedicated manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patients' individual goals and requirements, crafting personalized care plans that address their unique needs.
• Manage a patient caseload effectively, typically seeing one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives the attention and quality care they deserve.
• Employ evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy and targeted exercise protocols, to enhance patients' mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Document patient care services accurately within our Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, specifically WebPT, to maintain comprehensive records of treatment and progress.
• Evaluate treatment outcomes regularly, adjusting care plans as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Educate patients on healthy lifestyle changes and alternative therapies to reduce medication dependence and prevent surgical interventions.
• Collaborate and consult with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and cohesive care for all patients.
• Provide motivation and emotional support throughout the treatment process, encouraging patients to take an active role in their recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Optimal Recovery Psychotherapy, we primarily serve adult patients dealing with orthopedic conditions that necessitate rehabilitation. Your role will encompass working with individuals who are recovering from surgeries, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and postural challenges. By understanding their specific circumstances, you will have the opportunity to significantly impact their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• Possess a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and hold a valid state license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintain an unblemished professional record, free of any disciplinary actions or board complaints.
• Demonstrate proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong understanding of exercise development and implementation.
• Proficient in utilizing EMR tools, particularly WebPT, to streamline patient care documentation.

Preferred Experience

• Relevant experience within orthopedic outpatient settings, showcasing your ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment.
• A proven background in developing personalized treatment protocols that lead to enhanced patient outcomes.
• Strong communication skills, allowing for effective interactions with colleagues, patients, and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
