This full-time position will allow you to work remotely while contributing to the mental health and well-being of individuals affected by trauma, including those dealing with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders.

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule with occasional requirements to collaborate with team members in person. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed assessments to evaluate each patient's unique trauma history and needs.

• Formulate and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at facilitating the recovery and empowerment of clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that provide a space for patients to process their trauma, develop coping mechanisms, and nourish healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive and integrated patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention strategies and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating a calm demeanor under pressure.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses and coping strategies, offering access to community resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical regulations.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations, offering insights and strategies to enhance the team's approach to trauma care.

• Stay abreast of the latest research and developments in trauma therapy to continuously improve treatment protocols.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be working with a diverse clientele, including individuals affected by various forms of trauma. This can range from childhood trauma to domestic violence, ensuring that each client receives personalized care designed to help them navigate their unique recovery journeys. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a compassionate and client-centered approach.

• Proficiency in managing electronic health records and relevant computer applications.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, particularly in trauma-focused therapy settings.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive yearly salary range of USD 80,000 to 104,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional benefits include:
