Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients’ trauma histories and recommend suitable treatment approaches.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery, resilience, and personal empowerment.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to enhance patient outcomes.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients in processing their trauma and equipping them with coping mechanisms.

• Work closely with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to provide integrated and holistic care for each patient.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma-informed practices, coping strategies, and relevant community resources.

• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in case consultations and professional development activities to promote a culture of excellence in trauma-informed care.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Proficiency with therapeutic interventions specific to trauma recovery.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating a compassionate, non-judgmental approach.

• Ability to remain composed during high-stress situations, supporting patients effectively.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
