Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual counseling sessions focusing on mental health and emotional well-being for clients dealing with chronic pain or mental health challenges.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to design and implement comprehensive and individualized treatment plans tailored to each client’s needs.
• Facilitate discussions that empower clients to take ownership of their mental health, encouraging proactive participation in their treatment journeys.
• Guide clients in addressing the emotional implications associated with chronic pain, providing coping strategies and emotional support throughout their healing process.
• Assist clients in integrating meaningful lifestyle changes and self-care practices, ensuring practical implementation into their everyday lives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse group of clients, including children, adults, families, and couples facing various mental health challenges. Your focus will extend to guiding individuals living with chronic pain, navigating their emotional landscapes, and supporting them through tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at overall well-being.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
• An active, unrestricted license as a LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the State of Washington.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in mental health counseling, demonstrating a solid foundation in the therapeutic process and patient care.

Preferred Experience
