Key Responsibilities\n

• Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' symptoms, mental health history, and psychosocial factors. You will gather critical information to identify treatment needs and establish rapport with clients.

• Diagnosis: Utilize the DSM-5 or similar diagnostic manuals to accurately diagnose mood disorders, ensuring your clinical decisions are evidence-based and clinically relevant.

• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans collaboratively. Regularly review and adjust these plans to align with client goals and progress.

• Psychotherapy: Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness strategies tailored to the needs of clients.

• Medication Management Collaboration: Work closely with psychiatrists to evaluate clients who may benefit from medication intervention, providing insights into medication adherence and side effects.

• Crisis Intervention: Respond to acute crises by providing immediate support and intervention to clients experiencing severe symptoms or psychological distress.

• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain meticulous clinical documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards, including progress notes and treatment updates.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
