Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan, and implement tailored treatment programs for patients referred by physicians, ensuring each patient's unique needs are met.
• Administer therapeutic interventions and modalities specific to various conditions, such as orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine cases.
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to enhance patient experiences and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals and support staff to maximize patient care outcomes and streamline services.
• Educate patients and their caregivers on treatment plans and rehabilitation exercises, ensuring they understand their role in the recovery process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and compliance with therapeutic interventions.
• Achieve established utilization goals and other performance metrics while contributing to the clinic's overall effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse patient population you will encounter includes individuals recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. You will work with clients of all ages, including children with developmental issues, athletes requiring sports rehabilitation, and adults with orthopedic and neurologic challenges. This varied clientele allows you to utilize a broad range of skills and methodologies, contributing to a fulfilling clinical experience.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from a program accredited by the APTA or CAPTE.
• Current State License in Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in word processing and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in a clinical setting, particularly in rehabilitation facilities, is preferred.
• A demonstrated ability to establish rapport with patients, allowing them to achieve and exceed their functional goals.
• An eagerness to engage with the community and promote health and wellness initiatives.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, which includes:
