Work Environment

The Physician Assistant will operate primarily onsite in our state-of-the-art hospital facility located in the Bronx. Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, including thorough medical histories and physical examinations to identify their pain management needs.
• Develop, implement, and continually evaluate personalized treatment plans in collaboration with physicians, ensuring that each patient receives tailored care.
• Engage in regular consultations with interdisciplinary teams, including physical therapists and psychologists, to facilitate comprehensive patient care.
• Prescribe necessary medications, therapies, and interventions, continuously monitoring patient responses and adjusting treatment plans accordingly.
• Execute pain management procedures such as joint injections, nerve blocks, and trigger point injections, adhering to the highest safety and quality standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records using our advanced Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, ensuring compliance with health regulations and guidelines.
• Commit to professional growth by participating in educational opportunities and training sessions, staying updated with the latest in pain management practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physician Assistant at MidWest Pain Relief Center, you will work with a diverse patient population experiencing chronic pain resulting from various conditions, including arthritis, neuropathy, and injuries. Your role will directly impact patients' ability to manage their pain effectively, ultimately improving their day-to-day functioning and overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Physician Assistant license in New York.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies, with a strong preference given to candidates holding a Master’s Degree.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, specifically in pain management or a related healthcare field.

Preferred Experience

• Proven proficiency in using medical documentation and electronic health record systems, ensuring seamless communication and documentation of patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 150,000 – 180,000 per year, commensurate with experience, along with an attractive benefits package that includes:
