Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to develop individualized therapy plans tailored to client needs.

• Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, couples, and families, adapting approaches as necessary to best serve clients.

• Utilize a repertoire of therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and treatment of clients, communicating clearly regarding client progress and challenges.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work at Betis' Youth & Family Support Services will involve engaging with a diverse client base, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing a variety of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field is required for this position.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience in counseling, preferably in a clinical setting, is essential.

• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards relevant to mental health practice is crucial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
