Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and establish personalized treatment plans.
• Administer therapeutic interventions in a variety of forms, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and the use of specialized rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain and improve mobility.
• Engage in the documentation of patient progress, treatment responses, and outcomes to ensure accurate records and facilitate quality care.
• Regularly assess and modify treatment programs in response to patient progress and changing needs, ensuring optimal recovery paths are maintained.
• Advise on the use of assistive devices such as walkers and prosthetics to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers in therapeutic techniques and at-home exercises to promote continued recovery outside of formal sessions.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the field by participating in educational workshops, networking within professional associations, and reviewing current literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients served at Aviant Physical Therapy range from children to adults, with a variety of diagnoses including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, developmental disabilities, and chronic pain conditions. Our holistic approach allows us to customize treatment to address individual patient needs and achieve significant improvements in their overall health and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapist license in the state of New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and scheduling purposes.
• A flexible mindset, capable of adapting to various patient and organizational needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred but not mandatory; we welcome recent graduates who are eager to learn and grow.

Compensation and Benefits
