Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor within our clinic, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a designated caseload of clients while building solid, trusting relationships grounded in professional ethics.

• Conducting regular sessions to evaluate client progress, discuss treatment goals, and determine discharge readiness when appropriate.

• Developing comprehensive, person-centered treatment plans that cater to the unique needs of each client.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation and progress notes to accurately track each client’s therapeutic journey.

• Conducting thorough intake assessments for new clients to gather crucial background information and inform treatment approaches.

• Providing individual therapy sessions and participating in ongoing individual supervision to continually enhance your therapeutic skills.

• Collaborating with a network of healthcare providers to develop a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role concentrates on providing mental health services to a youth population. Clinicians are expected to address a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• Ability to fulfill requirements for internal credentialing procedures.

• At least one year of experience working with psychiatric populations and/or individuals facing substance use challenges.

• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and both individual and group counseling methodologies.

• Proficient computer skills including basic keyboarding, with experience in electronic health record (EHR) systems preferred.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, candidates with prior experience utilizing evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) or dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), will be given preference. Experience in telehealth services is an added advantage as our clinic emphasizes flexible care options for clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
